General information for boarders
1. Hostel re-opening
Boarders will enter hostel on the 2nd April 2013 (Tuesday) between 1:00 - 2:00 p.m. Teachers, Parents and Boarders Meeting will be held at 3:00 p.m.
2. Hostel FEES
Hostel fee an amount of `. 6,000.00 must be paid for that month while entering Hostel. (if Hostel Fees are to be paid in monthly installments) Payment should be made along with Fee Book. The School Authority does not hold responsibility for complications and confusions arising from payment of fees. Fees are to be paid through Mizoram Rural Bank, Chaltlang Branch at Chaltlang, Dawrkawn only.
3. Boarders’ outfit
Boarders are notified to furnish themselves the following at the time of entering Hostel.
(i) Mattress (Dunlops are not allowed)
(ii) Trunk (Suitcases are not allowed)
(iii) Hanger (1 dozen)
(iv) Plastic Bucket (big and small) and Mug
(v) Tooth brush and Tooth Paste.
(vi) Shoe brush and Shoe Polish
(vii) Bath Towel and Face Towel
(viii) English Bible (New Testament & Psalms)
(ix) Kristian Hla Bu
(x) Bathing Soap and Washing Soap
(xi) Night wear / Night Gown.
(xii) Hostel Casual Wear - 4 pairs
(xiii) Blue Jeans and black pants (1 each)
(xiv) Mosquito net
(xv) Toilet paper roll for sanitary use.
4. Things to remember
(i) All articles are to be clearly marked and identified by labeling an abbreviation of the Boarder’s name or by writing their name to avoid loss of articles.
(ii) No medicines can be kept by a Boarder in the Hostel. If a Boarder is under Medical treatment, Doctor’s prescription should be produced and medicines should be kept in the custody of Hostel Wardens.
(iii) Restrictions are made on the number of Civil dress. Only four (4) pairs of civil dress are permitted for a Boarder.
(iv) Bed-sheets and Bed-covers (uniforms) are to be bought from Zofa Store, Canteen Square, Aizawl.
(v) High School boys should bring a fancy neck-tie for formal wear.
